ENGAGE programme


Engage, Edinburgh Innovations’ new online learning programme, is designed to give you the skills needed to collaborate with external partners, grasp commercial opportunities and create impact from your research. Full details on the Engage webpage.

Engage is for research staff at any level who are new to external engagement, who aspire to engage in the future, or who wish to enhance their skills and engagement. We particularly encourage early career researchers and postdoctoral staff to participate.

Currently, there are 7 modules available in total, where you’ll learn practical tips and strategies on how to:

  • create and sustain relationships
  • protect intellectual property
  • scale up and commercialise your ideas
  • secure funding and resources
  • collaborate across disciplines and boundaries
