Thinking about launching a business in the UK but need a visa to do it? For this masterclass, we've teamed up with Innovator Founder Visa endorsing body Envestors.

Envestors works with high-potential founders from around the world, helping them establish, grow, and scale innovative businesses in the UK. Since 2020, they've supported over 250 endorsed businesses as an official Home Office Endorsing Body.

This session will give you an overview of the Innovator visa requirements, the endorsement process, and how Envestors can support you on this journey, with a presentation followed by open Q&A.

Who's it for?

Open to all University of Edinburgh students and recent graduates (up to two years after graduation), who require a visa to setup a business in the UK, regardless of your discipline or experience. Whether you're taking your first steps or looking to build on existing knowledge, our masterclasses cover a range of topics that will be helpful for you.

Format

This masterclass is a 50-minute online workshop.

By the end of the sessions, you'll:

• Understand the criteria for endorsement
• Have an overview of the endorsement process and timeline
• Be aware of the types of business eligible for endorsement

No previous experience is required; just bring your willingness to learn.
