Community Coffee Morning

Great ideas start with great conversations

Sometimes the most valuable step is simply meeting the right people.

Join us for a relaxed coffee morning where you can enjoy a free tea or coffee, meet students from across the University and chat about the ideas, projects and topics that excite you. Whether you're interested in innovation, entrepreneurship, building a startup, developing a side project, or you're just curious to meet like-minded people, everyone is welcome.

Who's it for?

Open to all University of Edinburgh students and recent graduates (up to two years after graduation), regardless of your discipline or experience. Whether you have a business idea, are working on a project or simply enjoy meeting interesting people, this is the perfect place to connect.

Format

A relaxed one-hour drop-in session with free tea and coffee. Come along, introduce yourself, chat with fellow students and members of the Student Enterprise team, and leave whenever you like. No pitches, no pressure, just great conversations.

Date: 21 October 2026

Time: 10:00-11:00 am (come and go as you please)

Location: Bayes E-Zone

By attending a coffee morning, you'll:

  • Meet like-minded students from across the University
  • Share ideas and build your network in a relaxed environment
  • Discover new opportunities to help take your idea forward

Great ideas rarely grow in isolation. Sometimes, all it takes is one conversation to find a collaborator, mentor or friend who helps you take the next step.
