Welcome Reception - Cohort 6.0

Wednesday 29 October

Edinburgh Futures Institute

Registration from 18:00

To celebrate the start of the sixth Venture Builder Incubator, please join us in welcoming the new cohort to the ecosystem.

This year, we're delighted to share that, thanks to a new partnership with Techscaler, VBI 6.0 will include founders from 10 Scottish Universities.

For the fifth year running, VBI will support 6 researchers from across the UK as part of our continuing partnership with Cancer Research Horizons

This new cohort of 36 founders is focused on addressing diverse challenges using digital technology and hardware.

Join us once more to meet our founders, learn about their ideas, and help them build their entrepreneurial networks.

In a change from previous years, the reception will take place in Edinburgh Futures Institute (Event Space, Level 0). Registration is from 18:00. Canapes and refreshments will be provided.

If you can’t join us, please do pass the invite to someone you think might be interested. University enterprise teams, investors, ecosystem supporters as well as aspiring university founders should come along.

Venture Builder Incubator is funded by the Scottish Government and delivered in partnership with Techscaler and the University of Edinburgh. The University of Edinburgh has partnered with Cancer Research Horizons for the fifth year running to support oncology researchers who want to commercialise data-driven solutions to oncology-related problems.
