Get a taste for entrepreneurship in our Startup Fast-Track challenge. Working in teams you’ll tackle a real-world problem, develop innovative solutions, meet experienced mentors and pitch your idea to a panel of judges. 

Come with or without a business idea, join a team and startup over two days.  This high-energy event will give you a fast-track experience of turning your ideas into reality. 

What to expect 

• This event will help you learn about the foundational elements of starting a business:
• Meet your team and choose one of the weekend’s challenges
• Research the problem and start crafting an innovative solution
• Attend workshops on how to validate an idea, develop a solution and communicate your idea in a pitch
• Meet with experienced mentors from our startup ecosystem
• Present your idea to our panel of judges

Problem: Data and AI have enormous potential to solve pressing environmental, social, and economic challenges, but risks such as bias, exclusion, lack of education, and misuse undermine their impact.

Challenge: How might we harness data and AI responsibly to maximise their positive impact for society?

🩺 Future Health & Care

Problem: Health and care systems are under increasing strain, with growing challenges around prevention, access, inequalities, ageing, mental health, and long-term wellbeing.

Challenge: How can we reimagine health and care so that people everywhere can live healthier, longer, and more fulfilling lives?

🌍 Climate & Environment

Problem: The climate emergency is one of the greatest challenges of our time, disrupting communities, health, food systems, and the natural environment.

Challenge: How might we create solutions that allow people, communities, and industries to thrive while addressing both the causes and the impacts of climate change?
