Event Description {{detailsExpanded ? '- Show Less' : '+ Show More'}}

As part of National Innovation Week, join us for this panel discussion to learn about the University of Edinburgh's support for innovation and entrepreneurship and the role this plays in the regional economy.
A recent report by the Institute of Economic Development put universities at the centre of the debate on how to generate growth in regional economies, with calls for government to further incentivise higher education to focus on economic development. Our panel will be looking at the University's role as an incubator for startups and spinouts and how these strengths could be developed.
