Introduction to Freelancing


Build your freelance future – across any sector

Curious about freelancing? Whether you're interested in consultancy, tech, the creative industries, marketing, or education and training, this session is for you.

Gain core freelancing skills and discover the range of support available through our service and beyond.

Who is it for?

This session is open to all students and alumni (up to 2 years post-graduation).

Visas - If you hold a visa, you're welcome to attend all of our workshops regardless of your visa status. However, before beginning any freelance work, it’s essential to check whether your visa permits this type of activity. Please note that the Edinburgh Innovations Student Enterprise Team cannot provide legal advice on visa matters. For guidance and further information, you can refer to the resources available here
