Scotland’s response to COP29: A call to action
- Tuesday, 10/12/2024
- 14:30 - 18:00
The Edinburgh Climate Change Institute, High School Yards, Edinburgh EH1 1LZ
Event Description {{detailsExpanded ? '- Show Less' : '+ Show More'}}
Building on the climate COP29 in Azerbaijan, and the biodiversity COP 16 in Colombia, this event will showcase the contribution of Scottish research and innovation; provide guests with an opportunity to gain insight from Scottish academic attendees at COP and develop a joint call to action for future research and collaboration.
The event will be hosted by Scotland Beyond Net Zero, a partnership of 13 Scottish Universities working to accelerate Scotland’s response to climate change across food, finance, natural systems, the built environment, energy and transport. It will provide a key networking opportunity across the coalition and with external partners such as industry, government and community groups. There will be presentations and a panel discussion, and an opportunity for networking at a reception.
Tuesday, 10 December 2024, 2:30pm (for 3pm start) - 6pm
