PhD students - Curious about what lies beyond the academic path?

Join us for a casual, inspiring session with Informatics alumnus and serial tech founder Rolf Baxter, as he shares his journey from PhD student to building billion-dollar companies. In just a decade, Rolf has built Oosto, a leading computer vision company, launched and sold Zenith AI—a no-code AI platform—and is now on his third tech venture.

Rolf will reveal the highs, lows, and unique insights from his founder journey, and share why he believes PhD students should consider the tech founder career path. He’ll be joined by Christina Starko from Edinburgh Innovations, who will introduce the free and fun support available to you to explore the tech founder path as part of your PhD journey.

So come and join us on Friday 25th October - 3:30-4:30pm for something a bit different. Pizza and refreshments will follow.
