Does the idea of a flexible, independent career appeal to you? Join us and learn how to turn your skills into a thriving freelance career.

In this workshop, we will explore the possibility of becoming a freelancer, or accelerate your already-established freelancing journey. We will cover the following:

  • What is freelancing?
  • Benefits and challenges of freelancing
  • Activity profiling your customer(s)
  • Fireside chat with an experienced freelancer, followed by a Q&A
  • Activity mapping out your customer journey and exploring how you can add value at each stage, from brand awareness through to customer loyalty
  • Practical aspects of freelancing: finding customers, legal, insurance, finances, pricing, and ensuring you get paid
  • Opportunity to network with a community of aspiring and established student and alumni freelancers

You can also book a 1-2-1 meeting with our Freelancing Business Advisor, Eileen Inglis, who can help you get started with freelancing effectively, lawfully, and successfully.
