Event Description {{detailsExpanded ? '- Show Less' : '+ Show More'}}

Starting your own business can be both exciting and daunting. Where do you start? What do you need? Who do you ask for help?

Following on from the success of our KB Talks sessions this year, we are now bringing our entrepreneurship talks to the BioQuarter campus with a twist.

Attend BQ Talks either in-person or online and meet successful entrepreneurs who know the ins and outs of setting up a business from scratch. Listen to their stories, meet like-minded people, and get inspired to start your own entrepreneurial journey. We will also be focusing on different sources of support and funding available to staff and students. This is a great opportunity to learn more about the entrepreneurial ecosystem in Scotland.

The talks will be followed by a Q&A session and a catered networking reception so that you have plenty of time to chat to the speakers!

Confirmed speakers include:

  • Dr Luca Cassetta - Co-founder & Vice President of Immunology at Macomics
  • Dr Wu Huang - Co-founder at NucBarcoder
  • Ricardo Moreno Ballesteros - Founder at GenProtex & PhD Researcher at the University of Dundee
