Translating your research through venture capital
Want to know how you can access VC expertise and finance to help accelerate impact? Want to know how you can do this while continuing to develop your career as an academic scientist?
If the answer’s yes, come along to our online event to find out how this can become a reality.
The event will be of particular interest to PhD students, early career researchers, postdoctoral fellows and PIs with early stage ideas in life sciences and who are interested in:
- translation of research to a transformative therapy
- accelerating science towards impact
- developing skills for career progression
Epidarex Capital will introduce how it’s possible to use VC input for impact while developing your career as an academic scientist. You’ll also hear first-hand experience from Professor Jeffrey Pollard and Dr Luca Cassetta, co-founders of Macomics who will share their success story in managing the best of both worlds.
We will close the session with the opportunity to find out more from Edinburgh Innovations - how our dedicated team works to understand and support your ambitions for your research.
We look forward to seeing you there.
