Online Workshop

Event Description {{detailsExpanded ? '- Show Less' : '+ Show More'}}

Are you interested in learning more about sustainability, and how to be environmentally sustainable while away on a study exchange?

In this adapted SOS-UK workshop delivered by the Study and Work Away Service and the Department for Social Responsibility and Sustainability, you will have the opportunity to learn more about the climate crisis and environmental sustainability, as well as come away with practical information about how to make a positive impact while away on exchange.

The session will focus on four main areas:

  • Travel
  • Consumption
  • Energy
  • Recycling and Waste Management

We will also provide online materials that you can work through at your own pace. These materials are available to anyone who is interested, and are a great tool to have in case you'd like to check back on top tips and guidance after the workshop has ended.

There is no single way to get involved in sustainability, so come along to learn about multiple routes you can take to get involved, learn more and take action at any level.

This event is open to current University of Edinburgh students who plan to undertake a study exchange during the 2022 - 2023 academic year.
