The idea of Startup Weekend is simple: start a company over the course of three days.

This is an excellent opportunity to get a taster of the startup world, and a chance to make connections with other talented students who might become business partners and lifelong friends. 

We rent workspace for an entire weekend, bring together students from a wide range of backgrounds, cater food and drinks, and bring in top-notch entrepreneurs and investors to support you along the way. 

Over the weekend, you will work together with your team to transform an idea into a polished investor pitch ready to be presented. You’ll learn a lot about the foundational elements of starting a business or social enterprise. 

• Day 1 – Get into teams and start building something incredible. 
• Day 2 - All about validating your idea and making sure you are building something people want. You’ll also have plenty of teamworking time to make good progress on your business. 
• Day 3 – This is the final day! Learn how to best pitch your idea and present your idea to our panel of judges. This is followed by celebratory drinks and networking.
