Innovation and opportunity
Following COP 26, join us to learn about the latest thinking around the transition to a net zero circular economy and the opportunities for innovation that you can engage with.
Listen and question a panel of experts with different experiences and opinions within this important debate about how we best achieve this transformation.
Chaired by Professor Dave Gorman, the University’s Director of Social Responsibility and Sustainability, the event is open to our community of academics, students and industry partners who are engaged in circular economy innovation or who want to learn more about the possibilities in this area.
Our panel will comprise four highly acclaimed speakers:
- Jamie Butterworth - Partner at Circularity Capital LLP
- Aidan Grisewood - Deputy Director of Environmental Quality and Circular Economy at the Scottish Government
- Dr Katherine Trebeck - Researcher, writer and Senior Strategic Advisor for the Wellbeing Economy Alliance
- Ken Webster - Author & Director of the International Society for Circular Economy
This expert panel will set out their vision for a net zero, circular economy and the opportunities for innovation associated with this.
-
There will then be an opportunity to ask questions when we will delve further into opportunities across research, education, business, entrepreneurship and policy. This discussion will explore the role of collaboration and co-creation and ways in which this can be encouraged and supported.
