This writing workshop for entrepreneurs will give you a chance to progress with writing your business plan and/or a grant application. There will be a short introduction (15 min) from Jonathan Feldstein, founder of Bennu.ai and successful recipient of several major funding awards, including a SMART:SCOTLAND award.

Jonathan will cover:

  • why writing a business plan is important for you and your team
  • how to develop a clear strategy for success
  • how to choose funding options with the right fit and
  • how to minimise the time you spend on writing applications.

Then the main focus of the session will be on actually writing a section of an application/business plan and peer reviewing others' applications and/or plans, giving you the space and support to help yourself, with a few pointers along the way.

Jonathan and Ross McLennan, experienced business advisor with Edinburgh Innovations, will be on hand throughout to support and provide feedback.

There will also be the opportunity to discuss preferences and options regarding future ongoing grant writing group activities.
