Join our seminar in person or online to learn about AstraZeneca’s collaboration portal, Open Innovation. Hear about ways to interact with AZ, from accessing preclinical compounds, biologics and pre-clinical datasets to engaging with specific challenges identified by AZ including the development of cell therapies. Book a one-to-one session with the AZ Open Innovation team to discuss your project or proposal.

  • Seminar outline: AstraZeneca’s Open Innovation programme offers many collaboration opportunities for you to advance your research: from optimised compounds with extensive data packages to high-throughput screening libraries and facilities.

By combining AZ’s drug R&D knowhow, expertise and experience with your in-depth knowledge of disease, models and much more, provides opportunities to translate innovative ideas into scientific breakthroughs and accelerate the discovery of new medicines.

We will be joined by members of the AstraZeneca Open Innovation team, who will give details of the programme, upcoming calls, and will be available to answer your questions.

  • Kelly Gray – Open Innovation Programme Manager
  • Adrian Freeman – Open Innovation Preclinical Translational Data Lead
  • Jens Kieckbusch – Associate Director, Emerging Innovations
  • Saleha Patel – Senior Scientist, Emerging Innovations

AstraZeneca can offer collaboration opportunities at any stage and we encourage early career researchers to attend.

“We are open to collaborating with research partners across all stages of drug discovery, from the initial idea through to early clinical development, or anyone with a novel idea or solution looking to develop their ideas into transformative science." Kelly Gray – Open Innovation Programme Manager.
